I have a tenanted property an hour's drive from where I live. The boiler pressure had been dropping frequently for a couple of years but two other engineers had been unable to find the fault. Then it got to the point where the pressure was dropping immediately it was raised, so I put the job on here and was contacted by Terry Saville, as well as one other. Although Terry had not yet got any reviews, when I phoned him he sounded trustworthy and knowledgable, as well as friendly and helpful. He said that he was willing to go at a time to suit my tenant, including evenings, and to email me an invoice afterwards, to pay by bank transfer. He has been as good as his word. His communication with me and my tenant has been good too. He found the problem where others had not- there was a bad leak in the heat engine but because the water was running out of the condensate pipe, no-one had spotted it. He ordered the part and although he was delayed by extreme snowy weather, he installed it in the evening, staying until midnight to finish the job. So far all is working well and the tenant has his heating and hot water back.I don't have anything to compare the price with, but it seems pretty reasonable to me. He has also been willing to assist me with a claim on my Landlords emergency insurance. Therefore I would highly recommend Terry on the strength of this job and will go back to him for the service and landlord safety certificate next year.
